Lord God, we ask that You guide, protect, and grow the students who are Yours.

Scripture #1

“I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.” John 17:11

Jesus, we ask that You, the Father and the Holy Spirit would protect these students by Your Holy Name. We ask that that You would keep them from evil in their homes and from the evil intent of men. Lord, we claim these students in Your Holy Name and ask that You would give them the grace of being one with You.

Scripture #2

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

Lord, we thank You that You meet each student’s needs according to Your glorious riches. We pray for food, clothing, and shelter, as well as good health care. We ask that they feel Your love through those who meet their needs.

Scripture #3

“Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 11:19

Lord, we ask for revelation in these children’s homes from their parents to teach them Your ways and Your truths. Lord, give the parents grace of full repentance, that they may plant Your blessings in their homes.

Scripture #4

“Jonathan said to David, ‘Go in peace, for we have sworn friendship with each other in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘The Lord is witness between you and me, and between your descendants and my descendants forever.'” Then David left, and Jonathan went back to the town.” 1 Samuel 20:42

Lord, we ask for divine friendships…Friendships in the name of the Lord where these friends grow each other in love and take ground for Your Name in the schools. We ask for trustworthy friendships that encourage Your Name to be glorified.

Scripture #5

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:5

Lord, we ask that these students not be fooled into lives of slavery, but stand firm holding to You. Lord, teach them to fight for Love and to stand firm as a warring servant of Christ.

Scripture #6

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” Galatians 5:22-25

Lord, we ask that this generation would be famous for keeping in step with the Holy Spirit. May the fruit of the Spirit be evident in each child, wherever they are. May they set new, high standards at school, at home, and in relationships.

Scripture #7

“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” Proverbs 2:1-5

Lord, we ask that You would give them a hunger for wisdom, insight, knowledge, and understanding of the natural and the spiritual. Lord, may they discern truth from lies and seek the truth as hidden treasure.

Scripture #8

“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.” Romans 13:1-2

Lord, we ask that You would give these students the grace to respect and submit to authority. That they would honor their leaders, teachers, police, and authorities as representatives You have appointed.

Scripture #9

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, his incomparably great power for us who believe.” Ephesians 1:17-18

Lord, we pray for a Spirit of Wisdom and revelation to know You more. May they have the grace of a holy encounter with You and the knowledge of the fear of the Lord. May they see the rewards of a holy life with hearts set on giving You glory.
