Let’s pray for the kids! Our children face challenges even more difficult than we did as children. Joppa House believes God is raising up a generation that will know God in a greater way than we have. He has called them with a purpose for today!
For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice, so that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has promised him. Genesis 18:19
The Father has commanded that we raise our children and our households with righteousness and justice that the promises of Abraham would follow all generations.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
We show our love to our children by raising them in the Lords word and ways, and with that we have hope that they will not leave from His ways and truth.
All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.
We are commanded to teach our children about the Lord, His promise to us is that peace would be with our children.
Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. Colossians 3:21
Men, God has called you to train in love your children, do not bring them to anger or wound their spirit. But teach them in the ways of the Lord with love and admonition.
I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your Grandmother Lois and your Mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well. 2 Timothy 1:5
We can show how sincere our faith is in the Lord Jesus to our children by the generations that have come before them speaking into their lives in the faith they walked in and believed in.
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:14-15
Raise your children in God’s word that they will continue in what they have learned, that the things of faith and truth will have firmly taught them how to believe. May our children know the way of salvation for their lives and the lives of others around them.
