Holy Creator, we worship You. Please move in Your creative people, that they may use their gifts for Your glory.
“But be glad and rejoice forever over what I create; Behold, I am creating Jerusalem to be a source of rejoicing and her people a joy. I want you to remember I am the God that brought you out.” Isaiah 65:18
Father, thank You for creating us to be a people of joy and the cause for great joy! There is nothing better than a people who have found their calling and destiny. A people who found who they are in You and what their gifts and style of creativity is in You. I pray that not only for those who have heard the call of salvation, but for those who need to hear.
“According to the [remarkable] grace of God which was given to me [to prepare me for my task], like a skillful master builder I laid a foundation, and now another is building on it. But each one must be careful how he builds on it, for no one can lay a foundation other than the one which is [already] laid, which is Jesus Christ. But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will be clearly shown [for what it is]; for the day [of judgment] will disclose it, because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality and character and worth of each person’s work” 1 Corinthians 3:10
Father, help us as creative people to have clarity concerning where our creative gifts come from and why we have these gifts. If our gifts do not bring You honor than these gifts are futile and bring no lasting reward. Awaken us to the truth and give us boldness to carry it out.
“All Your works shall give thanks to You and praise You, O LORD, And Your godly ones will bless You. Psalm 145:10
Father, without the foundation of salvation and the Holy Spirit, Your creative people might know fame, but won’t have true peace; might have giftings, but without true purpose; might have popularity, but without Your favor. Help us, God, to realize that no amount of fame, gifts, or popularity are worthy to bring You honor if not received from heaven.
“Seven days you shall celebrate a feast to the LORD your God in the place which the LORD chooses, because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be altogether joyful.” Deuteronomy 16:15
I pray that Your artisans will be joyful and loving, and prosperous people. That they will be fully financially capable, so that the kingdom can be advanced, not only beautifully, but also monetarily. We take authority against the curse of the starving artists and speak the blessings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed [in Me] and has been baptized will be saved [from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment]; but he who has not believed will be condemned.” Mark 16:16
I pray concerning the mountain of arts and entertainment and all the creative artists of all forms, for creative outlets and open doors to boldly take the gospel to the lost and the found who have strayed away from your love, promises and redemption. I pray they have the time to spend in Your presence to hear Your word towards them and their commissions. I pray, Holy Spirit, that You breath upon the creative giftings for clarity and increased expression.
“When you enter, you will come to people [feeling] safe and secure with a spacious land [widely extended on all sides]; for God has given it into your hands–a place where there is no lack of anything that is on the earth.” Judges 18:10
God, You are amazing and as we go forth to do Your will and live the life You dreamed for us to live…we give you exuberant praise.
