Christ is our peace.
Scripture #1
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-25
Lord, bless us and keep us, turn toward us, and let You face shine on us. You are gracious toward us and give us peace.
Scripture #2
“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Trouble is in the world, but you have given us Your peace and we can be strong in our hearts knowing You have overcome the world.
Scripture #3
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
Why do we let fear trouble our hearts? You have given us reconciliation; Your peace we can rest in.
Scripture #4
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15
We have been reconciled in Christ, let that reign in our hearts. We are one body called to peace with the members of the body; rejoice because we have been given the peace of God.
Scripture #5
“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.” James 3:17
We pray to receive the wisdom from heaven, because it is pure, full of peace and love, kind, full of mercy; in it are all the fruits of Your Spirit. It is impartial but always sincere.
