The Young Church, Foster children, Special Needs Children To Knows God’s Will

Our children do not have a Jr. Holy Spirit, they have the real deal. He is amazing in their lives. Let’s join together & ask our God to make Himself know to our children in a powerful way!!!


Scripture 1

We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience.  Colossians 1:9-11

Father, we thank you for the Holy Spirit who gives wisdom and understanding. We pray that you will give it to the children in our schools and our homes, to the youth in our high schools and universities, to the foster children in our area, to the Special Needs children, that all of them will know the knowledge of your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.

Scripture 2

And giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.  Colossians 1:12

Father, we pray for our children and youth, for our foster children and our special needs children. We pray that they will know you, that they will make you Jesus, the center of their hearts, we pray that they will be filled with joy and thanksgiving because they know that they have been set apart to share in the inheritance of your holy people in the kingdom of light. Father we pray that they will not walk complaining about their circumstance but instead will walk full of joy and that joy will be their strength.

Scripture 3

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.  Colossians. 1:13

Father, we pray that our children will be full of this reality, that they have been brought into a kingdom of light, that they don’t belong to the kingdom of darkness any more and that they will want to bring those around them into this kingdom as well.

Scripture 4

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.  Col. 1:13

We pray for the foster children in this area. Father, would you place the desire in Christian families to foster these children until their families resolve their issues so that they will come to the knowledge of Christ, will you turn these hard situations for their good. And for those that do not have a place to return to, we pray that you will move in the hearts of parents to adopt these children. Guide parents with the knowledge of your will in Jesus Name.

Scripture 5

How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your Word. Psalm 119:9

Father we come before you to ask for the children and youth in this area, that they will live according to your Word because that is the way they will please you, we pray that your Holy Spirit will exalt above all else your Name and your Word, we pray that they will live their lives with a Holy fear of God, that they will seek you with all their hearts.

Scripture 6

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.   Matthew 6:33

Father we thank you for your word, you told us to ask and seek and knock. We come to ask that you will move in the hearts of all our children to seek the Lord first, to have a deep understanding that by seeking you first everything else will be added unto them, that by you, being the center of their hearts, will bring everything else in their lives to the right place. We pray that they will bear good fruit, and that they will grow in the knowledge of God.

Scripture 7

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,  and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.   Ephesians 3:16-19

We pray that you will strengthen our children with power through the Spirit in their inner being, so Christ himself will dwell in their hearts through faith, and as they are rooted and established in love, they may have the power to grasp how wide and long and deep and high is the love of Christ, so that they will know this love that surpasses knowledge, so that they may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. We pray for all the children and youth in NWA and we want to specially pray for the foster children, and the special needs children as well, that they will be strengthen with the might of the Spirit and that they will experience the fullness of the love of God, we pray that you will give to them great endurance and patience in what they are going through.
