Prayers for Arkansas: The Sword of Justice and the Spirit of Liberty

We will be praying into the symbols on the Arkansas Seal.

The Sword of Justice and the Spirit of Liberty.

Scripture #1

“How blessed are those who keep justice, who practice righteousness at all times!” Psalms 106:3

We declare: Arkansas you are blessed because you keep true justice and exercise righteousness in every area of government and law.

Scripture #2

“You shall do no injustice in judgement; you shall not be partial to the poor nor defer to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly.” Leviticus 19:15

We declare: Arkansas you will judge fairly, you will not judge according to what someone has or does not have. You will judge fairly when it comes to justice. We will wield the sword of justice in Arkansas in all matters of government and law.

Scripture #3

“Justice and only justice, you shall pursue, that you may live and possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you.” Deuteronomy 16:20

We declare: Arkansas; justice and only justice will you follow after. We shall live and own the land which the Lord has given us; because we will follow the Lord’s justice.

Scripture #4

“There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.” Isaiah 9:7

We declare: Arkansas; the Lord’s government and peace will be over you, His kingdom will be established and upheld with justice and righteousness from now and forever more. The passion of the Lord will accomplish it.

Scripture #5

“Now the Lord is the Spirit of Liberty; and where the Spirit of Liberty is, there is liberty.” II Corinthians 13:17

We declare: Arkansas; The Lord is the Spirit of Liberty and we say He is here and with His presence comes liberty.

Scripture #6

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1

We declare: Arkansas; Christ has made you free by His liberty. We say that you will not be snared again by a burden of oppression; we have been liberated by Christ and we will walk in that liberty.

Scripture #7

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” II Corinthians 3:18

We declare: Arkansas; you will behold the glory of the Lord; you will be unveiled and transformed into the same image as the Lord. You will move from glory to glory by the Spirit of Liberty…the Spirit of the Lord.
