Love Your Neighbor

Christ has called us to love God and love people. In order to truly love, we must rely upon His Spirit to work in us.

Scripture #1

“The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:31

Father, revival starts right here in my heart. Judgement comes first, so please show me what needs to be seen that my love borders would expand. I love Your great deeds, I know Your fame, and I long for more of You on this planet. But we will be known by our love for one another, so please help me love my neighbor. In Jesus’s matchless name!

Scripture #2

“No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.” 1 Corinthians 10:24

May love carry all things, believe all things, hope for all things, endure all things. May loving one another bear the fruit of Life in us. May the strength of the joy of our Lord Jesus be imbued in us as we seek out the good for others.

Scripture #3

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

May we inspire each other and build each other in love that no one would fall short of all God has called them to. We pray that we build up, hold up, and cheer up the whosoevers in our lives. In the workplace, in the home, in the marketplace, in the houses of worship, may we bring a smile so that we can give it away. And when we weary of doing good as some do, revive, restore, and renew us to carry Your kingdom wherever we go. Darkness has no hold on us.

Scripture #4

“Therefore let us stop passing judgement on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.” Romans 14:13

Father, the judge’s robe does not fit us. We don’t look good in black, we are meant for the snow white linen of righteousness. Father, we lay our offenses down and look for kingdom solutions to worldly behaviors. May the Spirit of Wisdom and Counsel have its way in us and through us.

Scripture #5

“For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.” 1 John 3:11

Father, John was there when this was said by Jesus. We declare acceptance of the authority of John’s testimony, teaching, and revelation of our loving Lord. We embrace the unveiled mysteries of our Savior, the Messiah, Yeshua of Nazareth. We ask for the equipping to run with the revelation of Love. If we move with this revelation we ask that you open doors, straighten paths, unlock hearts, and empower us with the ability to make disciples of Love. In the Name above all names, Jesus Christ!
